Summer

Hi Reader,

What a gorgeous spring we have had; the return of leaves and the blossoming of flowers and life paired with bright blue skies has really grounded me this season (and also here's to the coming rain!). I hope you are finding moments of joy and calm, or just general mindfulness, when outside. Taking time to notice the world around you and how you respond to the changing environment is such a key to an embodiment and wellness practice; even just 3 breaths of this kind of connection to the present moment can make a difference.

As we approach summer, all of our schedules change and I wanted to share some summer plans/announcements here at Erin McCabe Wellness:

1.) If you haven't checked it out yet, take a peek at the updated website, big thanks to my assistant, Sarah Berkey of Sunnyside Printing!

2.) The biggest news for me and my family is that I'm pregnant!! We are expecting our 2nd little one in early November so I'm riding the feel good energy of the 2nd trimester this summer before my practice and body change too much! Below is my big offering for the summer and I hope to have some smaller offerings and a low key community gathering in the fall - stay tuned!

3.) My big endeavor this summer (while I'm in the most energized part of my pregnancy) is to offer a summer mentorship program called Embody U, which is an offering that is geared towards other professionals, but is made up of 3 of my on demand courses that are great for anyone and everyone and each has a free preview. There is a FREE info call next Tuesday, June 11th at 2pm on Zoom for anyone who wants to join and find out more!

4.) Finally, I'm always wanting to offer free resources for accessibility. I recently made this 15' ABC's video, take a peek and test your foundational skills of alignment, breathing and core control. It goes along with this free resource.

In closing, I'll leave you with some really powerful podcast episodes from Kelly Corrigan who just did a 10 part series on wellness and these were some of my favorite:

On Depression (the audio quality was poor midway through but it improved and the content was so worth making it through!)

On Movement

On Spirituality

Be in touch with feedback, questions, and requests. Here's to summer energy while making sure to take time to rest and play!

Hi Reader, Tomorrow is the fall equinox and I'm definitely feeling the shift as the light and leaves change, though we did get to soak up summer until the last drop with warm sun and warm temps! I hope you are savoring the abundance this season is bringing and are feeling grounded as we get to the equinox and really shift into fall. I loved this post on Instagram from Katherine May the other day and especially love the slide that says: If you would like to join a practice to support this...

Hi Reader, Change is in the air, literally and figuratively. The mornings are more chilly and foggy, if you're an early riser you're also noticing the sunrise happening after 6am these days, schedules are shifting especially if you are intertwined with schools, and you might be craving a return to new routines after summer travel or visitors. Whatever you are going through, the transition from summer towards fall tends to be a prominent shift; no matter how long we have been out of school...

Hi Reader, The last time I sent a full newsletter, it was the middle of winter and I was in a low spot. Life has not been all good since then, but I have felt more balanced and grounded through the ups and downs we have had. And I have been reminded over and over that I am not alone. A big thank you for your support and compassion after my last newsletter. How have you been in this transition from winter to spring? Each season and transition from one season to the next holds such energy and...
